I’m curious about your thoughts.
With Epic Universe opening next year, it’s likely more people will be visiting Universal parks in general.
Do you think this will give Seaworld more attendance?
Or do you feel it would hurt Seaworld?

I would guess increase attendance. I can see people hitting SW on their Universal trip. I don't think people are going to causally add an Epic day to another Orlando trip, the way they casually add a SW day (or a Universal day to a Disney trip) - it's going to be a trip planned around Epic. Although I suppose the people who come to do 2-3 days at Universal & throw on a SW day might instead opt for 4-5 days at Universal including Epic.

Given how close they are to each other and that SeaWorld has upped the thrill rides I could totally see some folks adding SeaWorld to an Epic trip ... leaving the other Universal Parks and Disney for another time.

I think the biggest determinant is going to be how much will Epic cost? Will they do a reasonable bundle with other Universal parks or will it be mostly stand alone costs for now?

We cancelled our UO APs last year and waiting until Epic. I'm thinking an AP that includes it will be very expensive. Just have to wait to do the math.
