I am planning to visit Seaworld in early June with DD(9) and DS(5). DD is a beluga whale freak! I was wondering if it was possible to get there at opening (9 am) and be done with things by 3 pm.?

These are our musts:
Lunch with Shamu
Arctic Tour to touch penguin/up-close to belugas
Clyde/Seymore
Dolphin show

No rides at all.

Any advice would be great!

It probably cant be done. The tour is going to be a certain time and its an hour so will will have to base your shows around that. And the shamu lunch is at 12. And in june it is really packed. Also no shows start til about 11. My guess is no because whenever we go we get to see 2 sometimes 3 shows and leave by 4pm. But if you cut out the lunch with shamu you could might be able to do it.

I agree that the shows are going to be the sticking point, in combo with the tour/lunch. There's usually only a few showings of each show per day, so you kind of have to plan your day around seeing them.

No way!! If you want to get all the shows, rides and other attractions done it will take a full day at least, and only if you plan your day smart by looking at the showtimes and planning your day around them as well as leaving time to do the rides.

We arrived about 30 minutes after opening, saw all the attractions, rode Kraken (three times!) and Journey to Atlantis, did Shamu and Clyde and Seymour, ate lunch (fast food place) and were still out well before 3.

We missed the dolphins and the animal show though.

Having said that, I suspect your itinerary might be pushing things a bit. The tour and lunch are not quick things and if you want to see everything, 3pm is probably a bit optomistic.

is there somewhere to find out what time the shows are... before you get to SW?

Thanks for the advice. Does anyone know how far in advance Seaworld posts showtimes? I knew that the lunch would be a problem, but this is DD's #1 priority--probably the only reason we are going to Seaworld.

Thanks in advance....
