The biggest piece of advice I give is to arrive early. The park opens at 9am. You want to arrive the parking lot around 08:30am, head into the park, they sing the national anthem at 9am, and then you walk to the back.

There are two rides you can go on first, JTA and Kracken. After that, you can head to the first Blue Horizons show. If you are early, you can walk thru the Manatee exhibit first.

Eat lunch early at 11:30am, because the lines for the restaurants get long. My favorite place is Voyagers, located near the sky tower. This is cafeteria style, with lots of items to choose from and wood oven pizza.

Arrive to each show about 20 minutes early.

Don't ride the polar bear simulator, it will make you sick, do the walk thru instead.

Bring lots of cash to feed the dolphins in the Key West area.

You won't see everything in one day, but you'll have fun.

We were at Sea World on Thanksgiving. You can do the park in one day. Dolphin show was great! We really enjoyed feeding the dolphins (do this when you first arrive...first feeding was at 9:15) and the viewing area too. The Sea Lion show is a must see too. As with all of the parks, get there early. Crowds don't seem to show up until mid-morning.

They were not performing the Shamu show that day because one of the whales gave birth the night before in the large pool. They did an introduction of the new baby 300 pound baby instead. We were very fortunate to be there for the first viewing.

Enjoy your trip!

We were there the day before thanksgiving. And we got there at opening 9am and stayed till close 6pm. And in that time we got a lot done but we didn't have time to do all the shows. If you want to see all the shows, ride the three rides and see all the exhibits you will probably need a full day. We saw the shamu show and the new blue horizons(i think that was the name) and we loved them both. We took our time and that was great. :goodvibes Have fun!

My DD is a big fan of dolphins also; the first thing we did at SW was to see the dolphin show. It really is great; we all liked it better than the Shamu show.

Don't forget to try and participate in feeding the dolphins, too. DD loved that, and we got some great pictures there, too.

I went on the simulation ride Wild Arctic, and was a little nervous about it, but I thought it was very mild; I enjoyed it a lot.
