SeaWorld deal right now ***online only***

I like SeaWorld. Last year we got the 2-for-1 deal, and really liked being able to go back a second day, do the things we liked again, and explore a bit more.

I figured they would have the same deal for our trip that we just returned from, but I was wrong. They have a better one. ***online only***

Right now, and I don't know when it ends, you can pay the price of ONE day's admission ($58 for over 10 years old, $49 for 3-9) and get a "fun card", which gets you admission through 2008. NICE.

My brother lives in San Diego, and they have passports to SeaWorld (solely for the Pets Rule show...there's just something about the trained cats that brings my brother and his wife back time and time again, even just for an hour or two), so we know we'll go at least once during a trip, and twice is better. And this way we have our visits through '08, for just the price of a ONE day ticket.

Also, you get a $10 Lowe's gift card (you buy the fun card online, print a voucher immediately, you go to the e-ticket kiosks which are unmanned, scan the barcode on your vouchers, it gives you the FunCard and a voucher for the gift card...you go to the Information center, show them everything, and they hand you a gift card for each Fun Card you bought, even the kid's cards), so even if you truly will only go ONE day in the next 12.5 months, it's a good deal (if you have a Lowe's, I suppose).

As January is less than a week away (and we usually buy our tickets for the coming summer in January to know that everything is then booked), we're looking into the prices of tickets right now and saw that there is no 2 days for the price of one that we usually get. This offer looks great but I have a question... does your first visit have to be before a certain date (we won't be able to use them until July 30, 2008 at the EARLIEST) in order for you to qualify? I don't see anything like that listed but thought I'd ask just incase you knew something that's not listed. I know the parks are very different but Universal often does the same kind of offer but your first visit has top be before a certain date in order for you to qualify.

If there's no catches, these are definitely the tickets for us!! SeaWorld a good few times in the space of 3 weeks I say... Even though it is a long drive...

Well, I e-mailed them (and got a fantastic reply back less then TEN minutes later... what great service?) and there is no 'visit before' date. I didn't think there would be but thought I'd double check. We'll be taking advantage of this offer next week when we start booking tickets!!

I live in San Diego and the fun card can't be beat. For the price of one day, you can go back as many times as you want till the end of the calendar year. It's really a great deal. I work 3 miles from Sea World and will often pop in during lunch. I'm not sure but it may also include free parking.

I'm glad you contacted them, because when I bought them, the rules stated you had to activate it by a date in March. Which is why we didn't buy one for DH (he wasn't in San Diego with us). AUGH. Now they've changed it, and I'm glad for you! But it's not really working for DH...well I guess I could buy one NOW for him. Hmm...
