Seaworld after dark is only during the summer. It just ended 3 weeks ago so you have a loooooong wait to see it again.

It usually runs from memorial day in late may (Next year memorial day is May 31st) Until Labor day in Early September (Next year labor day is September 6th)

So my best guess is it will run from May 31st until September 6th next year.

The night shows are awesome. The night shows are different than the shows you will see during the day! And there are fireworks to end the night. Its a great expreience. Plus the park is open until about 10:00pm.

The evening shows are Shamu Rocks, Sealions Tonight (but you would be best seeing the other shows before this one!), Bayside Ski Jam, amd Mystify (fireworks).

When we have previously visited in the evening (pre-Manta days), we have tried to have two evenings there - one evening to see the shows/fireworks, and one to ride Kraken and Atlantis (DDs favourites) as the rides tended to be virtually walk-on in the evenings. However, not sure if this is still the case with Manta now being operational.

sorry to correct but having spent many summer nights at sea world

the ski show is long gone (read somewhere else it's been a few years)
and the fireworks is called "Reflections", new this year

the lines on Manta were over an hour starting after July 4th, before that 20 minutes. Kracken was mostly walk on. Don't care for water rides so I can't tell you what the wait on Atlantis was.

 Whoops - I was sure it was on when we went last year, but I have had a few nights sleep since then!! Sorry if I misled anyone.

Hello,

Can I ask the seaworld at night, would you be allowed access under your normal seaworld ticket???

Yes, but SW tonite is just a summer thing(Memorial Day weekend-Labor Day Weekend) . They extend the hours to 10 PM. During Christmas week the hours will be longer, too, but they do the Christmas shows.

We really enjoyed SeaWorld After Dark ~ my children esp. loved Shamu Rocks ~ it was awesome! You should definitely check it out next summer if you can!!

For Christmas season they do stay open later, too. They have a special Shamu Christmas show, but don't do the Sea Lion Tonite show. They also redo Wild Arctic ride into The Polar Express which is awesome. Of course we have a new company running the park so things may be different.

Also someone this week posted that they went to the Halloween party and they saw Shamu Rocks, so it must be the last show on the party nights till Halloween. Haven't been there yet, though.

Friday Oct. 23 (no night shows -- just open 9-6) // Saturday Oct. 24 the park is open till 8 and there is a 7 p.m. Shamu Rocks show. I was disappointed that we won't get to see Sea Lions tonight -- That show is an absolute hoot. I love it. It's worth it in my opinion to do both the day and evening shows if you have the time. Like another poster said, though, they didn't even have Sea Lions Tonight this last Christmas -- We've only seen it on summer trips. Shamu Rocks seems to show up on schedules a lot more often. On our mini October three night / two day trip (I'm so excited -- we leave Thursday), we are doing Sea World on Friday. Disney's Animal Kingdom on Saturday, and then coming back to Sea World Saturday to see Shamu Rocks (We'll do other Sea World things too, depending on how long it takes us to cover what we want to do at Animal Kingdom). We, though, are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn that borders the Sea World parking lot, which makes this pretty easy (no parking fee or anything to go back in and second day within seven day period is always free admission to the park, if you get tickets at guest services before leaving your first day.)
