Seattle Washington restaurant for 18 year old birthday dinner

Hello all! Hoping for a little help. We are cruising to Alaska out of Seattle in September and we fly into town on my sons 18th birthday! He loves to eat and will eat pretty much anything! I would like to take him somewhere special. We will be at the Maxwell hotel on Roy street. His favorite is sushi and I would say second choice would be seafood. Anyone have anywhere to recommend? Thanks!

Well there's always the Space Needle's restaurant, SkyCity. They are pricey, but do have a prix-fixe menu that's decent.

We enjoyed Elliott's Oyster House when we cruised to Alaska from Seattle. The seafood was delish and the ambiance was nice. Enjoy!

Shiro's and Nishino are suppose to be some of the best sushi restaurants in Seattle. For non sushi restaurants I would recommend one of Tom Douglas' restaurants. I personally like Lola and the Carlyle Room.

When we lived near Seattle, our favorites were Palisade, Ray's, Dahlia Lounge, and Wild Ginger. The Metropolitan Grill was our top pick.

We usually brought out of town guests to Palisade or Ray's since both are on the water. Elliott's is good too.

Ivar's was good! We went to the salmon house a little further north, but there's one on one of the piers near the aquarium and pike place

Yes to Ivar's for good food and good for a multi age crowd. Great location near the aquarium and a new Ferris wheel.

We just did the Sky City Space Needle restaurant last week for our first trip to Seattle. We were looking forward to the view during dinner and were surprised that the food was actually quite good!
