In case anyone is planning on visiting Seattle or lives in the area, I found a great deal on tickets for seeing the Space Needle. Quadrant Homes (a local builder) is running a promotion until early December. If you take a package of new socks (mens, womens or kids) to one of their model homes or the showroom, they will give you a pass that entitles you to 4 free tickets to the Space Needle (up to a $72 value!). The socks are being collected to benefit the local homeless community. The passes themselves are good until 12/2011, so you have plenty of time to use them.
I bought a 10 pack of tube socks at Target for $7.50, if I would have bought admission to the Space Needle it would have cost $42 for myself, DD and DS.
It's a great deal and it's for a good cause!
