We're on the Eastside. I grew up in the South Sound area, DH in Eastern Washington, and we went to school in The 'Burg.

So it's supposed to be in the 90s this weekend, can you believe it??? We'll be roasting at the Mariner's game on Saturday...

At least you picked a good game to go to. I bet it was a bit warm, although I'm sure it was better than hanging out in a house with no A/C.

Ohh...love DGC....spoiled. Only place I can stay there now.
Oct. at WDW for F&WF here.....well really just to be there but we are going to check it out.

I am now back in Seattle for good, after having lived away for almost four years. I am sooo glad to be back!

Hey all. I have another trip in the works. We just met some amazing people who are also totally into disney and it just so happens that their daughter and my brother in law are seriously dating! We are all going to go to disneyland in may when he is out of college for the summer! Yipee!

Sorry for the late reply (spend more of my time on the DVC DIS boards then the community ones).

We are definitely going to hit some of the Food & Wine stuff, may even go to some of the hard ticketed events. We mainly picked going in October for other reasons, and Food & Wine is just a happy coincidence. We've only been in October once before, and thought the Food & Wine was pretty fun, even if all we did was sample some of the tastes.

Last time I was in California was around 1989 for a friend's wedding, and it rained the entire week I was there. Well, OK, it was gorgeously sunny on the day we drove back home. I figured it was just desserts for bragging to all my friends that I was going to see the sun in March, and come back with a tan.

So I just checked the forecast for Anaheim, since we will be there starting next Thursday. I'm getting so excited, our first trip to Disneyland ever! It's been a beautiful summer here, but the rain and overcast skies are back, so looking forward to a bit more sunshine, ya know?

Weather.com says to expect some clouds for the first couple days, and then... rain!

Hey all you Seattle area DIS'ers, Our NFFC chapter here in the great Northwest, the MountainEars are having a 3 day Disney Music Convention at the Experience Music Project (EMP) Nov 3-5. Would love to meet a few of you there. EMP is opening an exhibit to celebrate the 50th of Walt Disney Records. Several Disney artist will be on hand to talk about making our favorite music!
