Seating requests ahead of time?

The last cruise we were on there were 7 of us. They put us at the BIG table for 14 in the dining room with another family of 7. We did not care for it at all. The table is too big, too spread out, too loud, etc. We are going again with the same 7 of us and would like to request to be put at a smaller table so we don't get stuck at that one again. Is there any way to contact someone about that ahead of time or do we just have to wait until we're on board and talk to a dining room manager? We don't mind sitting with others, we just don't want that huge table again!!
Thanks!

You can request it, but there is no guarantee you'll receive it. I've requested table size before, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It might help, but probably not much. Just call DCL or your TA and have them add this request to your reservation.

I always travel with my brother and his family so we are a group of 9. The last cruise we were on we had a wonderful table, it was next to the windows(we always get late seating so you cant see anything ) it was great!. The cruise before that we were in the middle of dining room, and it was very noisey..........Cruising July 24 hope we get lucky again

did i hear that our dinner seating was on our DOCS?? don't remember seeing that?

Your docs will tell you if you are assigned early or late dinner seating (that info also should be on your reservation), but not your rotation or your table number. You'll know you rotation as soon as you check in and get your KTTW, although I don't think you get your actual table assignment until you get to your first dinner.

So I can request but it is not guaranteed. I don't want to be rude, but we will be a group of nine and speaking something other than english. That may come off rude sitting at a table with another family. So for their sake and for us to it will be nice to be separate.

Actually your table number is also on yo ur KTTW card. It's printed right next to your dining rotation.

Yes, it's a request, but not a guarantee. Just call DCL or your TA and have that noted on your ressie, it can't hurt.

This is true if your are NOT doing the land/sea package on the Wonder. If you are then you will find your seating time, restaurant and table number on a "card" in your stateroom.
