Seating for Treats and Seats Fireworks Dessert Party

Have any of you been to the new Treat and Seats dessert party? Do you know if all guests for that party get a table along the outer edge? I will not even consider shelling out that much money if our table could have an obstructed view from the ceiling of Tomorrowland Terrace.

I have not done the seated event, even at the edge I think it's poor viewing angle but have done the plaza standing area ones. I have seen the tables for the seated area and they are not all along the edge. There's not enough edge for them to do that.

The tables are placed throughout the terrace. There is zero guarantee you will be sitting by the outer edge and you cannot pick your own table. There are a number of reviews on YouTube which might give you a better idea of how the event is set up. We did the old version a few times when we had guests in our party that really needed a chair. You will have a better view if you do the Plaza Garden version of the event, but, of course, you won't have a chair.

Really? We have been taken to a specific table each time we have done a dessert party

When my wife and I attended the dessert party the tables were preassigned and had the guests names already on them. The tables were not all along the rail.

That would suck if you ended up with one of the back tables by luck of the draw.

Every time we've attended this party, we have been escorted to a pre-assigned table.

I just did this party over Thanksgiving. We checked in pretty early (we were first in line) and I asked the hostess if the tables were preassigned. She said they were for the larger parties. As the first in line we were taken to what I would consider one of the best tables, so I think they really just go in order of arrival. The tables along the rail seemed to all be sat before the inner tables, for the parties of 2-4 anyways.

I've had both happen.
I have seen people ask for a different table and gotten moved so there is likely some leeway but guests are not free to just walk in and sit where they want

We attended this party in December - party of two. We were one of the first four parties in line. When we were taken in, we were told to pick any table we wanted. Got a fantastic one at the railing - Tinkerbell flew right over us.

There were plenty of tables that were back through the terrace and not at the rail - particularly larger parties.

The earlier you arrive, the better the table. We always arrive about an hour early to these things and get prime seating.

Any chance of these opening up if I check all the time? Just wondering what people's thoughts were if I should keep checking or give up for end of February.

Also I know TP reservation finder can't search for them but any others that can?

I would keep checking. Unless something has changed, this event has a 5-day cancellation policy, so things may open up as you get closer to your chosen date.

Do they allow Treats & Seats folks to stay for the entire time...pre fireworks to post fireworks group finish (10:15)? I think that would be an hour before fireworks to 1 1/2 hr after fireworks, correct? which would be @ 3 hours to drink/ snack. If so, those who drink alcohol would get their money's worth plus.. You figure 8 to 10 drinks= @ $ 100-$ 150 tab alone. Thinking for a special celebration, this might be the best idea. Maybe grab to go QS meal for "real food" in between all those sweets. Advice? Input?

Check in/seating for the party starts 90 min before show time. I’m not sure how long after the fireworks they allow you to stay and hang out, but they don’t keep the bar or buffet open much past the show. So you could grab a drink right before the fireworks start but I wouldn’t expect to get any more after that.

I know the Post FW group comes in after FW and gets to stay until @ 10 or so. My understanding is that everyone shares the same food/ drink bars, so since T&S folks sit outside and FW folks sit inside....
