Seating for 2 at Sci Fi

We have ADR at Sci Fi for 2. Will we be seated in a car alone?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt it. Each seat of the car is big enough for two, and from what I've seen the cars seat up to six. The two of you will more than likely take one seat in the car while the remaining seats are used for other parties.

1) No.
2) They will attempt to fill the other seats.

I have eaten there as a party of 2. We were seated in the backseat of a car with another party of 2 seated in the front seat. No big deal. They had their backs to us so it wasn't really like being seated at a table with strangers.

Same here. It's not like you're interacting with the other party so...no biggie.

We sat on our own in 2007 - havent been back since. Have booked again for this year. Didnt think about sharing. hmmm.

2010 we were seated in the back of car with another family.. DH wasn't happy but really they never bothered us and we never bothered them so I'd do it again that way!

When DH & I have done it we've always been in the back of a car, but we always ask for seats near the screen, so we don't care. Also, if you give your camera to the waitress, you can get the cutest pictures from the back of the car in all sorts of poses (on the trunk, so to speak), whereas you're sort of limited to one cute pose in the front.

I don't even remember the people in the front seats, to be honest. The preview reel will keep you so occupied you won't notice them.

Been many times as a party of two and always sat with others. If you don't want to sit with others am sure you can request an umbrella table at the back, I believe they sit 4. We once took one of those when we were a walk up.

You will be seated with another party I'm sure. It isn't really a big deal - everyone sits facing the movie screen and between the seating and the movie clips playing you don't really feel like your "with" the other people. You can't hear the people in front or behind you unless you make a point of turning around and having a conversation.

No, they will seat you with other people. But its not like you are right on top of them, there is plenty of room and you aren't sitting face to face,

when we did this we were sat in the back seat and the other family took the first two rows.

Yes, the cars seat six and just about every seat will be filled.

To the OP - for a party of two, I highly doubt you will get a complete car to your own unless there is a tremendous storm going on outside and almost all the guests are hunkered down in a resort room somewhere.

My husband and I have been the "hitchhikers" and have a very lovely time in the back seat . Very romantic.

I concur with the others. My family is a party of 3 or 4 and we've always had "hitchhikers" in the back seat! As others have said, the set-up of the car didn't really lend itself to talking (or looking at) people in benches behind you, so it's not really a big deal. At most, the server announces them when they're seated and you can say "hi" if you want.
