Seating a Smaller Party and TS To Go

If you show up for your reservation with a smaller party, will they seat you without any problems? We have young children, and I'm concerned that there may be a time when 1 adult and child may need to miss a meal. I understand they won't seat you if your party is incomplete, but will they seat you if part of your party isn't able to come?

Also if someone if out party isn't able to come, will they allow us to order an entree to carry out with us?

1) Yes.

2) You'll have to ask. At fixed price restaurants, definitely not. At a la carte restaurants, depends on the restaurant.

Showing up with less people than on the ressie isn't a problem. They understand people have to cancel.

But I do think you will have more of an issue ordering a to go from the TS places. They are not set up to do this, so you may want to have a back up plan of the people staying back to eat CS at the resort.

I've shown up a number of times without my parents (got tired) and I've never had a problem. I usually get there early and let them know so the restaurant can open up a 6 top.
