Seatbelts on planes?

I have a really silly question about seatbelts on airplanes. Do all seats have the same size seatbelts? Helen

Not really a silly question, and the answer is yes, they are all the same size, however, they are adjustable.

and.... seat belt extensions are available on most airlines....

Yes, they are pretty much the same size and all are adjustable. They also have extenders when needed as well.

But not all airlines have the same length of seatbelt. I sleep almost every flight so I like my seatbelt very loose - on Air Canada the seatbelt is about 6 inches shorter than on United.

I forgot about the extenders, thanks for the reminder. I never have needed one.
