Seat Sales for Feb 2007 Trip

We travelled to the World in Dec 2005. I watched for cheap airfare and discovered several good deals in August for our early December trip. It seems the best deals were advertised approx 3 to 4 months before we left.

We've also travelled a lot over the summer to other places and know when to watch for seat sales for that travel period.

We don't have any experience, however, with when to look for cheap airfares for a Feb trip. We are getting a little nervous that there might not be any in that time frame. We live in the Prairies, so that will impact what is available. Yes, we go to some web sites that advertise cheap airfares, but I guess my question is -- is there usually an annual seat sale by the major Cdn carriers for travel in Feb?

Anyone out there have any previous experience with this?

Oh my gosh I am on your lookout team. We are going down for the first time in February also and we live in Calgary. All seat sales do not go past December 16 right now so I hope some come out soon! We have Get Set and the Air Canada newsletter so I am keeping my eyes peeled. The cheapest seats I can get right now are 270 plus taxes so for the five of us that is 3200.00. I will keep my fingers crossed
