Season's Passes good starting the 30th, instead of 12th YAHOO!

There was a postcard sent today, I would assume to all SP holders stating that our passes are now also good from July 30th-August 19th... yahoo! This means we can also go to the ESPN weekend on the 31st and 1st which we did not have access to before. There was also a passholder room rate code.

WHAT?????????????????????????? ARE YOU FOR REAL????????? REALLY???? Did you call to confirm this???? I'm just dying to do a quickie trip in AUG if we can, but we haven't had that option since school starts before the passes' blackout period ends??? REALLY????

OK follow up to my previous post, I just verified with CRO that they did in fact change the black out dates from Aug 19 to July 26th!! She told me it is probably due to the amount of promotions they have going for FL residents in August..kinda tough to offer room discounts, etc to FL seasonal AP holders who can't use their passes, right??

OH MAN!! Do I want to sneak in a trip here, dh will laugh in my face but it's a possibility!!!

True Story...last Wed my nephew called and wanted to go to WDW just for one day...I told him no way I wouldn't be able to get a reservation with just a few days to plan...but I called and made a reservation for Pop for one night...I called my sister and told her we where going for one day and staying at the POP she said what are you using for tickets? I have completely forgotten about the black-out dates (I have been buying them for over 15 years) OMG I told her I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake. I call Saturday and canceled the reservation...the CM asked why I was canceling maybe he could just reschedule the trip for me I told him about my mistake and we both laughed...He said what good is a great room price with no tickets...I said Oh well I tried.

Now this...I almost kept the room and just go down for the day without visiting the Parks.

I'm calling now.

My sister and I were already heading to Orlando next weekend to just hang out. We both got our postcards today saying we can use our season passes... WHOO HOO, will have to sneak a few visits to the parks in during this time.

Got my reservations we will be leaving in four days, called my nephew left-word for his Mom to tell him "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD."

I got my card too...........I was excited since there was also a code on there for resort discounts, unfortuneately it was the same old August code.......drats! I need Oct. and Dec!!
