I have been reading through my welcome materials again, and I now know you are not allowed to travel on a Member Getaway vacation during the last two months of your Use Year :(

And I also know there are seasons associated with the World Passport Collection...low, mid, and high. However, I don't know what months make up those seasons. So, my question is...

Do you know what months make up the World Passport Collection seasons? My guess is it varies and you have to call Member Services, but...

Thanks for your help. You all give that to me a lot ;)

Actually, you can travel on a Member Getaway vacation during the last two months- as long as was reserved prior to the past two months. DVC has to have enough time to rent the points we use for any non-DVC trip- thus the reason for the 2 month restriction. If you shedule the non-DVC trip anywhere from 11 months to 2 months ahead there will be no problems. We just can't make the resrevation to travel to a non-DVC resort within the last 60 days.

As a rule of thumb, if you are going to a World Passport resort during what is a popular time of the year (ski resorts in winter, Hawaii year round, etc) plan to need High Season points. If you want Colorado in early Sep- it is likely to be either Low or Mid Season. MS will have the exact details. You can also get good ideas of seasonal dates from the II or RCI websites (even though DVC no longer works with RCI, the website does offer good information about most resorts).

Enjoy!

Thank you so much. I can't believe I missed that in the materials. I see it now. I feel 100% better and am so glad I can travel in February and March :)

The season will vary by resort. One resort sitting beside another resort may have a different season attached to it at any one time. If you look at the II directory which non members can get to, you should get an idea. For non red time assume low. It it's red assume mid or high. High will be peak time like ski or warm places when it's cold elsewhere, HI most of the year, etc. You'll actually have to call to find out about a specific resort, time.
