Sorry if this is the wrong board, looked like the best place to jump in and ask...

We were just at Disney last week and purchased 8 day Ultimate Park Hopper tickets. I see that the season pass is around the same price. We checked out yesterday morning. Have we missed the chance to upgrade?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Amy

More then likely yes. Upgrades have to be done while the pass is still valiad and with a ultimate, it is good until the end of the day you check out.

It might make you feel a little better to know that if your UPH was part of a package you wouldn't have been able to upgrade it anyway.

Well, when we go next year I will definitely look closer at the season passes. I got the idea here as someone mentioned getting them and going back one week earlier the next year. My parents also winter in Orlando so, we could always come for a quickie trip with the passes inbetween big visits (they hate that we stay at the parks and not with them but, its sooo much easier).

Just an FYI, Season passes are for FL residents only. You don't have your location listed so I am just letting you know.

Hmm, not a Florida resident. My dad is though. Would it extend to me if my dad sets it up?

No, unfortunately not, you have to show ID that states you are a resident.

Okay, I took the time to search disney official site and get the correct termanology. It looks like I would like an annual pass or premium annual pass. I do not see anything about needing to be a Florida Resident for this.

Yes, Amy, that is correct... the AP or PAP are the passes that are available to everyone. :teeth:

The nice thing about them is that they can provide additional discounts and perks, too. Not guaranteed, but typically offered.

that is correct, anyone can buy an AP or PAP. Ah, the devil is in the details (or in this case, the termanology). :)
