Season changeovers?

Hi,

This is my first posting on this wonderful board, so excuse any mistakes

I'm curious about what happens at DLP when they change the seasons. I would like to take the family to see the xmas decorations but can't really afford the cost. They say xmas runs to the 8th january - does this mean that they take all the decorations down on the 9th? or during the day on the 8th?

Its just the price drops on the 8th and i'm wondering if i could still get to see a bit of xmas but without the cost

Any info would be most grateful

I'm not sure about Christmas changeover but we went in the run up to Halloween and each day new decorations were put up in preparation for the new 'season' I would imagine they come down the same way - Can anyone else confirm? so you would get to see some.

Day 3 has photos which shows the Christmas decorations still up so you might be in luck

I've wondered about that myself..

I think they must work through the night on the major decorations after Halloween and before Xmas, removing the biggest items and replacing them with stuff that would be too awkward to do with crowds of onlookers around.

I would think in January though, that you might be lucky and find a lot still up. Lots of CM's probably take a break after the Xmas and New Year rush, so they are probably a bit slower to take everything down. You can hope can't you!
