Seas Aqua and Dolphin Swim Tours?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering what the differences between the backstage tours of Livigng Seas are. Obviously, Seas Aqua you swim in the tank (non-SCUBA), and Dolphins you wade with a dolphin, but how different are the behind-the-scenes touring portions of the two tours? We are thinking about doing both experiences, but I'm not sure if we'll have a bunch of repeated stuff...

We did both tours within a day of each other in November. There is some repeated stuff, but not a whole lot. We did Aqua Seas first - when we did it we were the only 2, so we asked a lot of questions... We got to walk past the dolphins (which served to increase our excitement for Dolphins-in-Depth ) - but didn't spend nearly as much time there as in the Dolphins tour. With Aqua Seas the focus was more general, and I feel we got to see more of the backstage areas with it (manatees, food prep, etc). With Dolphins, it's mostly the dolphins You go to the same locker room to change, go in the same room to watch a video (different videos), get a soda, shirt and picture in each. We definitely weren't bored. Have a great time

We also did both tours within 2 days of each other.

We did Dolphins first, then Aqua Seas.

Totally different programs, but I felt that the CM leading the Dolphins tour was much more well versed and we enjoyed his portion of the "behind the scenes" tour better.

Overall, we loved the "action" part of Aqua Seas better than Dolphins though. We plan to do Aqua Seas again, but count the Dolphins tour as one of those things that once was enough, even though we had a blast with it. The interactions with Dolphins is VERY VERY structured, where with the Aqua Seas tour, you swim for 30 - 45 minutes without structure.
