Sears or Kmart.com?

Has anyone shopped at Sears.com or Kmart.com? What was your experience? There's a pilot case on sale at Sears.com for $10, just like the one I have and I really like it. Kmart has a ring I'd LOVE to have. I can get both from the same site since Sears and Kmart now are owned by the same parent company. Shipping for 1 thing is ridiculous, but for both it's the same price as one.

Right before Xmas I ordered a nursery set (sheets, curtains, etc) froms sears.com. Got a really good price and free ship - also a coupon from retailmenot.com. I think I received it in about 10 days, no problems. They didn't have a tracking # for me, as the # they gave me was fedex, and it ended coming UPS - but oh well. Otherwise, no problems at all.

There's no shipping on in-store pick-up -- do these items qualify?

I had a great experience with ordering a digital camera from Sears a couple weeks ago. I looked at them in the store, then ordered it online for in-store pick-up. There was a special place to park and a clock that counted down how long it took for item to be delivered, which was less than three minutes. That saved me 5% (about $40) AND I got Sunshine Rewards points!

The nearest Kmart or Sears store is an hour away, and neither item is available for pickup. I was bummed. My step-MIL works at Sears and could pick it up at her store, but they don't have them either. So disappointing.

I bought a 10K white gold cubic zirconia ring from Kmart.com last year. I ordered 2 sizes (wasn't sure which would fit). I can't remember how long it took to be delivered, but I absolutely LOVE my ring and get *tons* of compliments about it. The only thing that bothered me is the ring boxes were empty and the rings were in little zip lock bags. At first I thought they shipped the boxes without the product. There was no UPC or marking on the bag so it was a little more difficult to return the extra ring at my local Kmart store (because it was the same item -- just different size), but it all worked out in the end.

A few weeks ago I bought 14 throw blankets and a bed pillow at kmart.com. The blankets were marked down to $2.99 each so I couldn't pass up that great deal for Christmas gifts. I also got free shipping because I spent $50.00.

It did take a week before the items were finally shipped. For a while I was worried they wouldn't get here on time (I needed them by the last day of school because some of the blankets were co-worker gifts). They ended up coming on a Thursday and I needed them to give out on Friday, so all worked out well!

Other than it taking a week to ship, I had a good experience. The blankets are fabulous and went over well!
