The gang are:
Me, Andrea ,38 planner, worrier - 'I just think I will check that again'
DH, Chris, 44 driver,porter,waiter.etc...'did you say food & drink festival?'
DD, Meg, 10, loves a guy from HSM, amongst others! want to go to a 'mall'
DD, Mimi, 5, 'pink' crown firmly in place. wand in hand
We got up late this morning. we studied the sat-nav and got it working. we programmed the address in before we left the room to be on the safe side. Hooray!
We ate breakfast at Pepper Market.
In the car and heading to Jo-anns. We managed to find it okay: despite the nice satnav lady telling us to 'make a 'u' turn' ? Well what can I say about Jo-anns, I was in heaven, all of my crafting dreams had come true and I have to say DH was very patient as I loaded up the trolley. All in all I spent $250
but it was worth every penny. and I can now scrap at home for the next 40 years at least.
Next up was Target, excellent store. more merchandise in the trolley here. I was suprised at how quiet the shops are compared. to uk. and so well stocked. Also I was gawping at the aisle upon aisle of Halloween stuff. I got some pencils and rubbers etc for halloween back home.
We were back at the hotel by 2pm and in the pool. I tried a 'Pancho Colada' which was a bit too sweet for me. But hey, I drank it anyway.
That is the problem when you have been raised to 'clear your plate' ( or glass!)
We had and ADR for Boma at 6pm.
DH said 'oh no not more food!' we had been loving the free DDP, but did think that it ate into our touring time as we normally do counter service and eat on the hoof, but it was great trying new places to eat.
What can I say about the food, great ,very tasty, i had a glow-tini, and the Zebra domes , more please!
Tommorrow : Crystal Palace and Sea World
