Is there any easier way to search for rooms than the engine on Disney's site? It is kind of a pain in the neck.

If you try to search for a specific number of days at a specific resort, and there are no matches, you have to manually change the dates, search again, over and over.

I'm looking for something more like the airlines do where you can search 5 days before or after so you can find more hits..........

With as much money as Disney has, they certainly don't pour the amount that they should into their technology. Searching for a room is ridiculous. I just did this when searching for a new resort. Over and over and over again, switching 1 day, then two days, then two days in the other direction.

I don't think this is unique to Disney. Most hotels require you to specify dates to see prices. Part of the issue is that promotions will vary depending on your length of stay, so there is not a fixed price per night they can show in a monthly chart like airlines do. For example, a promotional price at Beach Club may be available for a 4 night stay but not a two night stay. Also, there are so many hotels the'd have to have a separate chart of rates for each hotel.

Many hotels in other parts of the country do what the OP is asking, so I know it is possible. For as large of a company as Disney is, apparently IT isn't much of a priority as there are CONSTANT issues using their App or website. Almost weekly on here there is yet another thread about the site not functioning correctly or getting various error messages. Certainly seems to have far more issues then any other website I frequently use.

Nope. Disney site is the place to go to book Disney. While other places do have SOME Disney rooms no other site will offer as much in one spot as THE Disney site does. Sorry. It's as good as there is, which no, isn't much.

I find it easiest to just call. Give a pin code for your 20% off or 30 what ever you have. . Which is very common to get. And book that way. I also think the web site is VERY easy to book with. I just prefer over the phone.
