Searching for Pocahontas

My DD2 can not wait to see Pocahontas & John Smith @ Disney. She LOVES that movies and tells us everyday "I go to Disney Today - Pocahontas lives there." Although I have been 35+ times and DD has actually been 3 times before, I have no idea where we might look for Pocahontas. Does anyone know where we should look?

I know that there is a Pocohontas live show at the Animal Kingdom. I don't think I've seen her any where else. Good luck!

She does have a live show, Pocahontas and her Forest Friends, at the AK. In addition, if you take the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, you should find Pocahontas and Meeko there (I think they were the only ones there). My children got her autograph and picture there on our last trip.

There are also Character Greeting Trails not far from her show, but I don't remember if she was there or not.

We just saw her in MGM.. front entrance! We have also seen her at the Animal Kingdom with Stanley at the Train Station area...

We have never taken that train ride. It always seems like there were a lot of people waiting to take the train and the map made it seem as if there wasn't much at the end of the ride. If Pocahontas might be there, we will definately give it a try. Thanks for the tip.

I know she not on the Greeting Trails unless they've changed that since Jan/05. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald are on the trails. Plus I've seen Chip and Dale wandering around the entrances...

That is hysterical. I will make sure to keep an eye on my husband although I think he is more of a red-head lover. Keepin' my eyes open for Ariel.

I'd say your best bet is at Animal Kingdom-the Pocohantas show is in Camp Mickey Minnie right next to the Lion King show. Ask a cast member where she can be seen during the day your there.

I've seen Pocahontas most often at Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK. I've heard she's also been at Magic Kingdom lately, but her location doesn't seen constant. I've heard everything from outside the Christmas shoppe in Liberty Square to inside Adventureland to inside the Diamond Horseshoe. If you want to try to find her at MK, try asking a CM at Guest Services or any of the CMs that escort the characters in the park if she is appearing anywhere in the park that day.

First thing in the morning at the AK we saw a "how they did that" type show with Pocahontas showing you how they train the animals for the live show, Pocahontas and her Forest Friends. There wasn't many people there and I liked it better than the show.

We also saw her in toon town meet and greet area with the princesses, CRT, and in AK planet watch

she is also on the list of possible princesses for the Princess Lunch & dinner in Norway at Epcot -

and remember - you can always ask at guest relations and they can tell you exactly when and where she will be during the day at any park

I have seen her at the front of MGM

and unfortunatley - John Smith is currently back in "England" and not appearing at WDW (except in Fantasmic)

We've seen Pocahontas at Conservation Station in AK (formely known as Raffiki's Planet Watch). I haven't seen John Smith though.

We have seen her in Frontierland with Meeko on two of our three trips. If your daughter loves her you definitely need to see her show at AK, it is small and low key so she is right up close and they let small kids sit in the first couple of rows so they can see better. We have also seen her all three trips at MGM up front in the afternoon.

We were at Disney in April and my DD (6) got to meet Pocohontas (and Meeko) at the entrace to AK (she was off to the side).

We saw Pocahontas and John Smith near EPCOT's American pavillion. Best of all you could "see" Pocahontas' red hair under her long black wig! Nine years later we still laugh at those pictures!

A few months ago, I was surprized to see Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty at the International Gateway at Epcot!
She is GORGEOUS!
