Searching disabled?

I can't search this forum, and it says searching is disabled. When I try to search the whole DIS it gives me some results, but only one page of them and so still can't find what I want from this board.

Is it being improved upon or is just off or is it that I've hit something wrong?

I need to get new glasses--I thought you said "due to forum incontinence". Maintenance looks nothing like incontinence and no, I have not been drinking!

And yes, Cantw8, it has really screwed up my stalking! (Actually, if truth be told, I stalk myself so I can see what threads I have posted on so I can keep up with them... ).

I saw the title of this thread, and the first thing that leapt into my mind was, "Great, another spinoff of the 'fat, lazy people in ECVs' thread; now somebody wants to search all the disabled people to make sure they deserve the chairs/ECVs!"

I'm all better now...
And boards sometimes turn the search function off when the server gets very busy, rather than restrict the number of folks that can be on at once, but it comes back, and nobody has to search all the disabled people after all to find out what happened to it ...
