You need to change the settings in your User Control Panel. On the menu bar at the top of the forum, click on "User CP", then on the left under "Settings and Options", click on "Edit Options". Scroll down to the section called "Thread Display Options" and look at the last setting called "Default Thread Age Cut Off". It's probably set to "show threads from the last month"-- change this to "show all threads". Click "save changes" at the bottom of the page, then go back into the forum and try your search again and see if you get everything. Hope it works!
Update: I'm only getting search results one month back too, so don't think this solves the problem after all! Try doing an "advanced search" and change "find posts from" "any date" to "1 year ago"-- that worked for me (at least gets you a year back).
