Search disabled

Hi Im new to this board and I was wondering why the Search Button has a warning come up stating The search function has been disabled by the administator.

Search was disabled (for now) to help the boards run a bit faster.

The webmasters work hard to tune the boards so that they'll run the best they can. If there's a way to turn search back on and still have the boards run well, they'll find it!
