We're going to Disney end of May 2011. Both my dad and husband love seafood. Can you tell me where we can get the best on Disney property? It'll just be 4 adults so we won't need to worry about finicky eaters :) TIA!!!

That was my worst ever dinner at DW, the seafood was farm raised and horrible

It was by far our worst dinner too but for other reasons. We waited an hour past our ADR time (the BC lobby was full of people waiting long past their times), the cold salads were warm, the hot items were cold by the time we got back to the table, the crab legs were stringy and stuck to the shell, there were very few side items, the service was lackluster...the Oreo bonbons and lava cakes (which have since been removed from the buffet) were the only decent part.

In order: Blue Zoo, Flying Fish, Fultons.

We've never been to Blue Zoo but I totally agree with Flying Fish and Fulton's.

California Grill, Narcooses's, Flying Fish, Jiko, Kona - not necessarily in that order. We've had good seafood at all of these.

I would recommend Fulton's. Haven't been to the others yet so I can't comment other than Uncleromulus is usually right on with his assessments.

Flying Fish, bluezoo and Coral Reef, in that order.

Been to Fultons, and I had a horrible time that probably tainted my total assessment of the place. It might deserve to be in the top three, but as for now, I can't really make a good judgement call on it.

We loved eating the whole Maine lobster at Narcossee's with a wonderful view of the castle. I had the mussells for an Appetizer and they were great and a huge portion; big enough to share for sure! I have 2 ADRs for our trip in January

We had great food at Citricos and my husband order seafood from appt to main course. I too LOVE the Maine Lobster at Narcoossee's and my husband always gets the crab cake for appt and he gets the Maine Lobster one time and another time he got the special seafood fish and another time he had surf and turf. I stick with Maine Lobster...yummy

How about the salmon at Artist Point? Never been there but isn't the salmon supposed to be the best around? Right now, the menu says Cedar Plank Wild King Salmon. I picked Artist Point just for that dish. If it's not worth it, I'll dine elsewhere for 2 credits.

How about the seafood at California Grill? I really enjoyed the spicy kazan roll sushi. Couldn't taste the fish so much because it was seasoned so much but was still delicious. CG also has halibut (was very delicious), Grouper, and Salmon (Wild King).

Now the California Grill menu on Disney's site shows Pacific Monchong fish. I don't know much abou it but I like trying different fish. It's a deep sea fish caught off the coast of Hawaii.

Pan-roasted Pacific Monchong with "Stir-fry” Vegetables, Sticky Rice, and Ginger-Soy-Hijiki Broth 38.00

Monchong Fish -- It's even fun to say... Monchong!

IMO, both Fultons & Narcossees are great for fresh seafood. Enjoy your trip and your dinner.:cool1::banana:

I was there in September and all 4 of us (adults) really enjoyed the Cape May Cafe clambake. All the food was very good and service was also.

Blue Zoo, Flying Fish and Narcoosee's if you like lobster.

We also have had terrible food at Cape May for Dinner, but we are not talking apples and oranges. Cape May is a buffet table service place and the ones I mentioned are more expensive signature restaurants. What category are you looking for?

Citricos, Narcosses, Coral Reef and California Grill are all good choices.

I've recently been hearing a lot of good things about Blue Zoo, but some have said that it's on par with Cape May, which IMO is quite bland and boring based on the seafood we cook in Balmer, Merlin.

There is no way that bluezoo is on the same level with Cape May. bluezoo is better than all of the Disney signatures which I've eaten at numerous times. bluezoo is one of the few places left at WDW that I consider to be fine dining experience rather than just a place to eat.

The last time I was at Cape May, they were not deboning my fish tableside.
