So I booked both Narcoossee’s and Coral Reef for free dining, not realizing that they both serve primarily seafood, and DF hates seafood. I on the other hand love seafood, and really want to try both of these restaurants. Do they serve much of anything else, I don’t want to leave his options open to only one meal? :headache:

I always check the menus on www.allears.net. We ate at Coral Reef our last trip and although I do like seafood my dh and I both got the steak and it was very good! I haven't eaten at the other restaurant.

I'm looking at Coral Reef (assuming dinner) and I see:

Mixed green salad, Caeser salad
Mushroom soup

NY strip steak
Grilled chicken breast
Grilled pork chop
And whatever the heck pumpkin rissoto is

He can also get the pasta without the shrimp

At Narcoosee's, I see:

Pear and endive salad
Hearts of romaine
Artisan cheeses

Filet Mignon
Grilled chicken breast
Lamb
Winter vegetables

There's also a cheeseburger, chicken strips and pasta with marinara sauce on the kids menu (he can order those, they have them, he just has to ask).

I thought Narcossee's would have less of a variety for him but if you add in those kids choices, he's going to have a lot to choose from.

He's not going to go hungry.

Thanks for the list, that helps, now I feel a little better. DF is such a picky eater! :)

If you want seafood and DF is a steak eater, try Flying Fish - known as a very good seafood place but rumored to have one of the best steaks on property. I am quoting other DISers here because I have not been, but the reviews have convinced me to give it a try (4 weeks from Friday!!!    )

Another option - to which I have been - is bluezoo over at the Dolphin. They have some excellent non-seafood choices. Not many, but the ones we have had have been great! Of course, I don't they are on the dining plan, so you may opt away from this one.

Glad to help. I've found (my husband knows what he likes and will ask for what he wants) that at Disney, you just have to think outside the bun. :goodvibes

The best steak I've had on Disney property was the filet at Narcoossee's. My DH is a seafood eater and I'm not, but I was thrilled with Narcoossee's. Good luck!
