Sea World's Dolphin Encounter

We'll be spending one day at Sea World in January. My daughter, who is 23, loves dolphins. I was wondering what your experience has been with their Dolphin Encounter. I know the cost is only $15 a piece, but I don't want to waste the time or money if it isn't worth it. Please let me know how your Dolphin Encounter was and also please complete the poll. Thanks!

You may want to try the one at Discovery Cove it's right across the street from sea world and you can swim with the Dolphins if your looking for Dolphins that's the place to go .If you don't have young kids Sea World is kind of boring .Before you go buying sea world tickets plus the extra 15 a piece just to try to and get a dolphin encounter you should check out Discovery Cove

We did the Discovery Cove Dolphin swim several years ago, and really enjoyed it. At the time we did it, the DC entry fee also included entry for a day at Sea World. I'm not sure if that was a special promotion, or if that's the standard deal.

We enjoyed Sea World too, but Discovery Cove was a much more relaxed experience compared to the theme park atmosphere at Sea World.

We have never done the dolphin encounter. We have done the Arctic Experience and the Behind the Scenes Tour. Both of those were wonderful and worth every penny. The dolphin encounter at Sea World usually means you get to feed and pet a dolphin.
