Ok I'm back-not much work being done here today :rolleyes1

DBf is now mulling over doing Seaworld-I feel it may be good for him to see a smidgin of the world outside "The World":)- so was wondering who does everyone recommend for buying Seaworld tix in advance-if you do (Anyone saying Virgin WILL be taken outside and shot:lmao: ) Do your recommendation actually send the tix or is it a voucher to get the tix?

Also has anyone had the Seaworld planning DVD? is it any good?:fish: (Couldn't find a dolphin!)

We got ours from Attraction Tickets Direct. They arrived in the post a couple of days after we ordered and they were proper tickets not vouchers.

I've got the Sea World planning DVD but don't remember it being anything special.

Gosh that was quick-are you sat at work not working too?:lmao: :surfweb: Thanks for the suggestion

I got proper tickets from Keith Prowse, not the cheapest but had some points to spend from my Thomas Cook credit card :)

Claire ;)

We booked on-line last trip - there was a discount for booking on-line and you can actually print of your own e-ticket. We're going to Discovery cove this summer which gives us free entry into Seaworld afterwards.

When we go to Florida we always go to Disney, Universal and Seaworld. (even on a shorter 8/9 day trip).

Offer just now is if you buy in advance you get in for child price $53.95 and a 2nd day free to be used with 13 days. So 2 days for about £29. You print off the eticket use it to go thru the turnstile(barcoded) then when inside you go to window on left and exchange the eticket for a ticket for your free day. You then have to take ID and the ticket with you for the free day.
Other option is 7 days unlimited admission to SW and Busch for $85+tax, includes transport to Busch if needed.

Dont think any UK ticket sellers can compete with SW direct when they have these offers on.

I would strongly urge you to sample the other parks such as Sea World, Universal and Islands, they are fantastic parks and should not be missed. We do these 3 plus all the Disney ones every time we go, and love each and every one of them.

I've done seaworld 3 times including Discovery Cove last time (And Seaworld in San diego which I actually preferred!) and US but not IOA-I'm not a big ride fan so wouldn't care for the coasters. Plus we're not having a car so not so bothered about going off site to Universal but I know Seaworld is really easy by bus.

What did you like about San Deigo SeaWorld better than Orlando?
We found everything was outdoors with no cover, even in Oct it was uncomfortable with the heat. We are AP holders in Florida and love it but did not really enjoy San Diego.:confused3

Can't help on the tickets as we always buy when we get there but Ihave the latest planning DVD and it's nothing special, I think it only lasts about 9 minutes or something - how you can cram everything in to 9 minutes is beyond me! You are better off looking out of Sky Travel and Sky 3 for Theme park programmes that are regularly on and more helpful! HTH

I went in April which was pleasant for me-I'm a fair-skinned redhead so I know what you mean about the weather. Not sure why I prefered it, just less frenetic and busy-at least the day I was there.I didn't feel the need to rush around in order to see everything.(Plus they have a much better Clyde and Seamore show-"Fools with Tools"

Your choice, but remember Islands only has two big rollercoasters and one little one. There is so much more to the park. Just going into Spiderman is worth the admission price alone. It is like nothing you have experienced. The Popeye ride is excellent and such good fun. Hopefully some time you will experience it and then be in a better position to judge whether to do it in the future or not, all you can do is try these places. Does your boyfriend enjoy coasters, water rides, state of the art rides (Spiderman)? Has he been to Universal? I know my husband and two lads (18 and 16) both love Universal and Islands the best out of all the parks.

We did our tickets from attraction tickets direct, we found these to be a great service, proper tickets and fast post.:woohoo:

I've used the Seaworld website before and will use again in a week for so for the Pay Child Price offer. If you look in the SeaWorld board you'll find a voucher there for 20% off :)

There are more than 2 rollercoasters at IOA (Hulk, fire and ice dragon, pteradon flyers, and a little kiddie coaster), IMO spiderman isnt that great a ride, I left it wanting more from it, people say its a very smooth ride but when we rode, it was very jerky. I agree that popeye and blutos is a good water ride so is dudley do rights ripsaw falls.

Can you use that as well as the child price offer?

I am another that doesn't think Spiderman is brilliant, I ride it and enjoy it but much prefer other things, I will do it if no more than 10 min wait, longer than that I dont think its worth the wait.
