Hi, my dd is really looking forward to sea world, I am going over my plans. I have allocated two days for it, on the advice my mum who went last Septembers and said said that there is enough to do for 2 days.

Would you agree with this?

If you want to see absolutely every show then yes. However, the second day might only be a half day.

You might find one day is enough though.

My DD was 4 when we went last year I think there's only enough for one day, however we only took in one show plus Shamu show and some rides and ate. We didn't make it a long day and arrived leisurely at 11am lol
DD loves Sea World - me and DH like it - but we go more for her.
Everyone seems to have different opinions about SW - I'd check out their website and see how much you think you want to do and work it out from there.:thumbsup2

I went for a day and a half last Sept. In the first full day we did everything and in the second half day which was our last day we did the things we'd enjoyed again.

Two days are fine. Make them two relaxing days. No need to get up early, stroll around the park. Premium Outlets near by. SW is a nice break from the often frantic parks.

It depends if you want to catch every single show or not. I would say one full day for all the attractions and some of the shows. The best show is the evening Seymour and Clyde show where they take the mickey out of all the other shows on site. Your little girl would enjoy this.

We usually have a day there and pop in on some evenings.

When we went in 1999 we did everything in day, there is probably more there now but I still wouldnt want to spend more than a day there.

One full day might be enough to get everything done that you want to. Seaworld is a beautiful park and perhaps you would want to go for another half day just to enjoy it.

I agree with Florence, one day may be enough to see everything.
One thing to remember is some of the attractions do not open until 11am, and many of the shows have scheduled times throughout the day.

If you need a park map by the way, I have a few - as well as several of the other parks too, pm me if you would like me to send some out to you.

To see everything at SW and not rush it is 2 full days for us(9-6ish), will be spending 2 days there at Easter then another 2 in August, then maybe another in August to do one of the tours.
We can spend 1-2 hours just photographing and watching the dolphins, another hour riding Kraken over and over again. Sky tower 2 or 3 times:rotfl2: free with AP.
I believe SW can be done in the day from opening to closing and rushing but to see everything and enjoy it then 2 days is needed.
If your not driving it can take 2 hours sampling free beer:lmao: The free alcopops were very nice last year especially the raspberry flavour

If you want a busy day you will be able to fit everything into one but one of the joys of Sea World is its more leisurely pace, adapt to that and take two days, part or whole and it will help you chill while still doing a theme park.

All the shows seem to be timed so it can easily fit into one day. Get to the Clyde and Seymour show in good time though as the mime pirate is the best bit!

last time we went to florida we had tickets that allowed to visit Sea World every day. We spent one full day plus 4 other visits just to see fireworks or access the rides.

I wouldn't say the 2nd day would be a full day but you can easily combine it with something else.

I would probably try a couple of leisurely days (depends how many other things you have to fit in) or do one day and see how it goes (you can always decide to go back...).

Sea World is a great park - lots of appeal to all ages (Sea World California ia great too). I love the shows :)

Boo

Thanks everyone, my mum might now becoming with me as DBF is still not keen to go and she wants to go 2 days at sea world, so we will be doing 2 days at sea world. My mum also wants to go to US/IOA so still need to change my plan as I was not going to go to US/IOA.

To me SW is only 1 day but i have done it so many times now - i skip the things/shows i dont like. That being said we dont go with kids either!

Dont forget to try the free beer at the hospitality centre, next door to the budweiser horses.

I would get bored with 2 days at SW (only really planning a half day there this year) but I think if you haven't been before and with a kid 2 days would be more chilled and you'd manage to see everything that way.

I only do it for 1 day at a time too but if you're going at a busy time then there is enough to fill 2 days, as someone mentioned make sure you catch clyde and seamore the sea lion show and pets ahoy! is great too and they only have that one 2 or 3 times a day so 2 days will ensure you catch it all
