Sea world with a child with disabilities

Hi all

My nephew who has physical and mental disabilities may accompany us on our trip to San Diego. We are thinking of visiting sea world and I had a few questions. First is there a discount rate for people with disabilities and / or their attendants (he requires an attendant). Also do they have any sort of guest assistance pass that allows either the use of an alternate entrance to rides or allows you to jump the lines?

I'm pretty sure there are no discounts. Is your nephew in a wheelchair? If so, it looks like he would just use the exit on some rides and go through the main queue on others. This is their official "Accessibility Guide" that might have some good info for you:

There is a GAC-type thing that he should get if he expects to use the accessible entrances for rides. We hadn't paid attention and got questioned about it when riding on Atlantis on our last trip.

get the gac at disneyland does anyone know how many people the gac is good for i have gotten it before but it has been awhile. my famillys coming into town and were going to sea world

We have two people with disabilities in our family and I'm very sure that during our April 2010 trip we did receive a discount for their attendants. I am sorry, I don't remember how
much the discounts were but we definitely didn't pay full price for the attendants. I'm sure if you call, they can give you the details.

The attendents are free. We did this years ago when I was in a wheelchair. We didnt know a thing about it and didn't ask. They just didn't charge us and explained why. A couple months ago we noticed another family not being charged for a disabled persons attendant.

Seems to be true only at SeaWorld. Don't think they do this at Disneyland, Knotts, Universal etc.
