Hi everyone...
We are going to WDW next month. I think we have worked it out to squeeze in an extra day in the area. Normally when we do this we just drive around check out the sights and do some shopping. This year I was hoping to take my family to Sea World since I am the only one who has been and that has been YEARS/YEARS/YEARS ago...Think I was maybe 8 or 9.
Anyway, Where is the best place to find discounted Sea World tickets? Any special promotions that I might find usful?
TIA~
Penny

If you go to mousesavers.com they have a listing of discounts. The one that we use is our Rapid Rewards Membership Card through Southwest Airlines to get 20% off at the ticket window. FYI you can "come and go for 7 days" at Sea World for the price of one admission, so you may want to do this early in your trip so that you can return for an evening if time allows. We are Disney nuts, but our time at Sea World always has a leisurely pace and we find it refreshing.

Ticketmania has their tickets discounted and it includes a second day for free.

Sea world has these tickets on sale on thier site.

Be a kid again – only at SeaWorld. Buy adult tickets at kid prices when you purchase at least 7 days in advance of your SeaWorld visit.

$53.95 all ages with advance purchase - an online exclusive offer
$64.95 adult $53.95 child without advance purchase

I seen that. Maybe it has really grown over the years, but even with the discount of all kid pricing that would still make it over $200 for the 4 of us to walk in the gates.
I know to each their own but is it worth it? Is there enough stuff for a $200 day?

Well..... I do love sea world but its only 2 of us going if it were more than 2 It maybe more of a concern.....
But I think if you buy one passport you can get discounts on other tickets but I am not sure what the price is with the discount. You can call Sea World and see if you buy one passport and needed to get other tickets what would they cost. That may save you some money. I will check into it and see what I find out!

Ok here is what I got from the site.

SW it is not Disney. If you are comparing worth with Disney than you probably won't think it is worth the $200 for the day. But if you enjoy nature-learning about the different animals- watching good shows that are all live(no videos)- slower pace where you don't have to fight for a spot in line-good food- time to just enjoy watching or feeding the dolphins, sea lions, and sting rays with your family; it can be the best park in Orlando and definitely worth the money. For years we have bought the Gold pass and go to SW more than to the Disney parks even though we get free admission to the Disney parks because our son is a CM and we have friends in management who have been there forever. Our kids used to even love just playing in the playground and it is so much better now than it was when they were kids. Can't imagine anyone having a bad day at SW.

I have to agree Sea World is probably one of our most favorites!! :thumbsup2
That is why we bought the season passes to Sea World! I love the shows they are so much fun!! I love the animals!
We also got to see and pet one of the dogs that was in one of the shows. They were walking him in the park. To me it was awesome to be that up close and personal with the animals :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

And the FREE beer doesn't hurt either!:thumbsup2 ::yes::
Free Beer? Maybe I missed something...what are you talking about?

Thanks everyone for your help. I think we are going to try to make it for sure...and if there is free beer I may not be able to get my DH to leave.

My Dbro and family spent a week at hotel across the street from SW while doing the whole WDW thing. Got a pass to go all week to SW so they could just walk across the street and have their beer :drinking1

Sounded like it was the best part of the trip :goodvibes
