Anyone had a meal here? I am thinking we may have lunch here and I would love to hear from anyone with experience. Looks cool and the menu is decent.

Thanks,
Rachel

We have been there for lunch and really liked it. The kids were entertained as we sat right next to the glass and the sharks were always right by them. The service is great and the food yummy. Enjoy!

Another positive vote!
Very nice atmosphere... food is pretty good too, and, I think the prices are pretty good!

Always a long wait though.

We ate there and had the stuffiest waiter. I don't think the prices were good but I am not used to eating in restaurants like that. My kids just got kids meals as nothing else on the menu suited their taste. My son got the salmon and he said it was delicious. I believe it was around $25. Portions are on the small side. The atmosphere was spectacular and the food was exceptionally tasty and presented well. I think that waiter had an attitude as he downright insulted us and that is what sticks in my mind.
The drinks were $10.
The bar top is an aquarium. Something to see for sure!

Hi cinamin!

We have eaten at Sharks three times (giving it the benefit of the doubt) and I have been disappointed each time. I know the restaurant has many fans but as lovely as the restaurant is and as enjoyable as "the show" is, I find the food to be substandard and very overpriced. I have had dry and/or "fishy" seafood each time I've eaten there. DH has had one decent entree. IIRC, they used to have a personal pizza on the menu that my non-seafood loving older son ordered the first time we ate there. The second time, it was no longer on the menu and he had a hard time finding anything to order. Although we enjoy full service dining in the parks, we've finally decided that we'll be doing only counter service at SW from here on in; and we're AP holders.

JMHO, YMMV.

Thanks, everyone...and I will check out the Sea World forum too, didn't know about that!

We have Passports for Sesame Place which have cross-park privileges so we will get discounts on dining at Sea World. Still, if it's ALL seafood my DH will have a hard time there too. I'll keep looking...CS recommendations welcome too! I've never been to Sea World and there seem to be fewer places to get info.

Rachel ;o)
