We're planning a week long trip to WDW end of Nov, my kids are 9, 6, 4 - is sea world worth it? Wondering what there is to do for kids besides the usual dolphin or seal show that they've seen at local aquariums.

I think SeaWorld is fantastic, and well worth a visit.

They have the most amazing marine shows (far, FAR superior to what you will find at your local aquarium, IMHO), an excellent cat/dog show (Pets Ahoy), beautiful exhibits, a multitude of feeding opportunities, great rides (two fantastic coasters, Manta and Kraken, as well as a Shamu's Happy Harbour, an area exclusively geared to the younger set), and a very relaxed pace. Its fun, its educational, its a feast for the eyes.

And speaking of feast, their all-day dining is an exceptional value and the food is so good.

I know I am in the minority on the Disboards, but SW ranks on par with the Magic Kingdom in my books, and above DHS, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.

I don't do roller coasters either :scared: . Yet I manage to have as much fun here as my coaster-loving boys. Its one of those parks that has "something for everyone".

So YES.......its a definite must-do for the whole family, no matter what your tolerance for rides! Because the rides are really such a small part of the SW experience.

SW is totally worth it even without the rides. The shows are amazing and fun feeding and animal interactions.

All day ding is a great deal. And right now if you buy your tickets online for $89 you get free all day dining. Yes online price is $79 but you can't get 2 discounts so you have to pay main gate price.

We went last year and did not do the roller coasters. I kinda wish they added more animals and got rid of the roller coasters but anyway, its fun to visit.

We take a day out of our Disney trip every year to go over to SeaWorld. My kids love the Dolphin Feeding and that is the main reason we go. In Dec, we purchased the all day dining and it was a good deal (we were stuffed)! While we enjoy the Orcas, we tend to be a dolphin family and its still well worth it.

So there's still enough to do if it's too cold to swim with the dolphins then. How is the swimming with dolphins?

You are thinking of Discovery Cove. DC has the swimming with the dolphins. SW does not (but you can feed them!).

Totally worth it! We don't do the roller coasters either and just love it! The SeaWorld shows make the regular zoo shows seem lame since these shows are so amazing! We will be there in 2 weeks and this is our second trip!

Yes! It's a must go. We will be going back in August 3rd time for my boys (13 and 11), last time we went they were 5 and 3 ?? - They are both excited about going back - and it's not like your local aquarium by far. This will be our first time venturing to the roller coasters too.

We just did our first seaworld day and I wish we would have gone sooner and spent another day. We all loved it. Clyde and Seamore is the beat show. I reviewed our day in the link below. Our daughter rode one coaster and we all rode the water ride but that was it.

Do you have to pay extra to feed the dolphins? Which exhibit is this? Is it only certain times?

Yes you have to pay for the tray of fish. Its the dolphin feeding area. Yes they only do feedings at certain times but its spaced out through the day. Its located right by the dolphin stadium.
