i notice that this tour has now changed from when you used to stroke a penguin, on youtube video i looked at it seems they let a couple penguins walk around you but does' not seem to be any touching
has anybody recently done this? do you still get to stroke a penguin? was thinking of this for grandkids if you do thanks

My mom and daughter did the tour in March and they were able to touch the penguins. It was the highlight of my daughters trip. I can't speak for now, but I know that in March you were still able to touch them. I hope this helps you.

I think it is the wild arctic tour that you can only stroke one penguin. The penguins up close, when we did it, we were brought back with the penguins behind a little gate, we could see all the penguins and "Leon" was brought out with us for lots of petting and pictures! It was truely amazing. Have fun

Also to add to the above, bring a warm sweater, it is really cold back there!

The animal interactions the Wild Arctic tour include petting a seal and a Beluga Whale, as well as feeding a Walrus. The Behind the Scenes tour does afford you the opportunity to pet a penguin, or at least it did in the past.
