Sea World Packages - Big Price Increase!

We did a 5 night Sea World vacation package last August, and I just looked into doing it again early in May - it's over $200 more for the same thing. I was kind of shocked at the dramatic increase in price, particularly considering I'm looking at "off season" dates. My daughter wants to ride Kraken and Manta again, but it's not looking like that's going to happen! Is there any chance of getting some discounted park tickets at some point b/t now and then? We're spending 3 days at Universal, but I wouldn't mind doing a Sea World day if we could get a decent deal.

It seems its your dates that are causing the issue...I just ran a 7 night stay under the eat all day package, and tried a variety of dates at the same hotel (Hilton Garden Inn, since it seemed to have availability during each time period I tried). August was about $900 for three adults with the eat all day, plus admission to both SW & Aquatica (I used my family for comparison purposes). Christmas week was very similarly priced. But the first week of May is $1330 :confused3 . I know the Viva la Musica festival is going on during that time.....but not sure why else it would be so much higher.

Can you avoid May and pick a different time of year?

Well, we chose May b/c my annual pass to Universal expires early August, and we were wanting to avoid the spring break crowds. I suppose we'll just save Sea World for another trip. My daughter is obsessed with Manta and Kraken after our last Universal/Sea World adventure, but it's not worth changing up our entire vacation plans. :(

I caved and booked anyway. My daughter will be SO excited. This was supposed to be just a quick trip to Orlando to get some use out of my annual pass, and now we're making it an 8 day trip with Sea World and Aquatica. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the rollercoasters and Roa's Rapids myself...

Please can you explain what " Viva La Musica " is ?

We have tickets bought already for Sea World etc . from

May 1st to 14th ( € 100 Euro each ) . 14 day 3 park tickets

I should have said it was 14 day ticket anytime from first entry after 1st May

Can do Seaworld , Aquatica & Busch Gardens

Looks like the music festival is happening the last day of our trip. Hoping that doesn't make the park terribly crowded, but we might just go for a few hours in the morning and shop later in the day.

I just checked the hotel rates for the Fairfield Inn at Sea World, and booking just the hotel room comes out more expensive than the package with Sea World and Aquatica tickets and free dining. I don't feel so bad now!
