Sea World on-line ticket – electronic or physical?

Weekday tickets purchased on the SW website, are they some kind of e-ticket or is it a physical ticket they send you? We have an open day in our vacation this summer that we’re not sure what we’re going to do with, will depend on how we’re feeling if we want to have a rest day or go somewhere (one of the places we’re kicking around is SW) so I am not purchasing tickets a head of time rather we’ll purchase them the day we go if we decide to in fact go. Obviously purchasing them on-line is cheaper than at the gate, but is that feasible to do? Is it an electronic ticket sent via e-mail or something?

when i purchased seawrold tickets online last year i printed them out at home.

Yes, it is an e-ticket that you will receive via email. You can print it out at your hotel, or you can save the PDF to your smartphone and pull it up when you arrive at the park. I am not sure if you can print single-day tickets at the self-service kiosks at the front of the park.
