Hi there! Just wondering what I should expect there...park will be open 9am-11pm. I will also have an ECV with me (if that makes a difference for touring purposes)...it will be me and my 4 year old and 6 year old.

We have deluxe APs, but it's a blockout day...and being that my husband active duty AF, we can get the free admission to Sea World, so we thought maybe that would be a good use of that day - all we'll have to pay for is gas to get there and back.

My four year old may or may not reach the 42 inch height requirement for most rides, so my thought is we will be focusing on the shows and stuff.

Any tips you have I would greatly appreciate...we have never been so Sea World...so we're newbies to the whole thing.

Thanks,
~Annie

What to expect: Lots of Heat! So bring sunscreen! Bringing a towel & swimsuit for the kiddies would also be a good thing. There's a lot of opportunities for them, as well as adults to get wet.
The Sesame Street Bay of Play just opened and I think that they'll enjoy that very much along w/ the new Sesame Street 4D movie.
The shows are very fun to watch, but don't forget that they are all outside in the blazing sun. If you want to get wet, sit in the spash zone.
Doing all the interactive things like visiting the Budweiser clydesdales, petting bat rays, touching star fishies and dolphins are cool too. Some of those places also offer food to feed the animals, around $5 for a tray of fish.
Just visiting the animals in the exhibits are exciting, there are lots of places to explore and do this.
I'm not sure if your kiddies meet up to the height requirements for Wild Arctic, but there is a non-simulated version that they can go on. And at the end of the ride, there are fun animals to visit!
Hope I helped and have a great time!

A Saturday in July is going to be SUPER crowded, so check the show schedule online before you go and plan what shows you want to see at what times, so you don't miss anything you really want to see.

IMO, Shamu Rocks! is a much better show than Believe, but if your family loves killer whales, you could see both.

Every show stadium has handicapped seating, so try to get to the shows early to get those seats. They are away from the splash zones.

I posted pictures recently of the Bay of Play, and your 4yo would probably love that area. Like DL, if you want to go on the 3 rides in the Bay of Play, go early in the day!

Have a great time! There is a lot to see and do at SeaWorld, but it's not too big that you can't do it all in one day without some advanced planning.
