Anyone know how the no rehire status works at Sea World? I know the parks aren't interconnected so if you are set at no rehire at one park you can still apply to the others out of state/city. If it helps the reason for the no rehire status is "no advanced noticed of termination or job abandonment" I've heard anywhere from 6 months to 3 years but would like to hear from someone who has been through it or works there.

Thanks!

I don't know about Sea World, but at Disney, it's like 5 yrs till the no rehire status disappears. And that's across the board from WDW, DL, DLC, DVC, TDS. Now transferring is a whole different story, and doesn't work that easily. You pretty much have to start off as a new hire, except you get to keep your seniority date.

I don't understand why a rehire status wouldn't go across the board at all the parks for Sea World, it's all owned by the same company.

My guess is a no-rehire status would be across the board as well. Espically since they are now "owned" by Blackstone, but really pretty much run themselves. And I have no idea for how long either.

The re-hire is only affective at the park you worked for or collection of parks in an area because all of the parks run their own HR. I don't know why they do it this way I just know they do. I worked for the park for several years.

I know I have heard Disney no re-hire coming off as soon as 6 months from some of the interns so I'd just like to know if anyone has experience with SeaWorld doing the same.
