I'm thinking about taking my daughter down for a day's visit to Sea World. My wife has duty all week, so I'm staying home from work to watch her. Daughter is three. She's done the Disney thing a couple of times, though never Sea World. It's a relatively short drive (about two hours).

I'm sure the crowds will be a bit crazy, though I can't seem to find any Sea World crowd calendars similar to those that float around for Disney. So I guess what I'm wondering is if this is a stupid idea? Am I asking for trouble?

Seaworld is always less crowded than Disney. Yes it will be crowded, but not packed like a Disney would be. A good thing to keep in mind is to plan your day around shows. The park becomes far less crowded when there are multiple shows going on at once. Plan to visit exhibits around shows that are going on at the time. For example: visit the Sealion exhibit which is located right outside the Sealion show while the Sealion show is going on. The exhibit won't be as crowded because most people will be at the show.

I think its worth the visit. There is so much to do and your daughter to see and experience! It should be a great time. Hope you decide to go.
