We want to take a day to go to Sea World. Any recommendations on how to get there from our resort? Do you take a taxi? Mears or such? Does anyone have any info and/or costs? :)

You can look up the cab fare at taxifarefinder.com

I would rent a car.

You can take the Lynx bus from the TTC. Much cheaper than a taxi.

Mears Shuttle will pick you up at your resort for $20.00 per person round trip. You do need to call and make a reservation. We did this 2 summers ago and it worked out great.

We took a taxi to SW and back. It was approximately $20 each way with tip. We were quoted the same for a Mears shuttle (there was only two of us) This way we could leave when we were ready and didn't have to worry about arranging a pick up.

It's been several years now, but we took the bus. It will take much longer to get there and drop off was not at the front gate - but across the street - but the cost was about $2 each.

We are looking at options too..............I have always used Mears when there were 2 of us, this time 5-6 + stroller.
Suggestions?

Great suggestions, thanks all. Taxi is probably the way to go, more control. Dont want to rent a car, pay for it then pay for parking too. I think Sea World parking is $14 or so.

98 days to go!!!!

:thumbsup2 Taxis are there all day. At the end of the day, there is a staff member there when it's busy to get taxis to move everyone. They are very efficient, it's wonderful.

I stressed over this same question back in November and it was all for naught. I looked at renting a car for a day, taxi, mears, etc. and didn't need to worry about it at all.

We were at POP, my SIL and fam were at AOA. They walked over to POP, we told the CM out front we needed a taxi and he called a van over. Simple as that. We had 7 people. With tip I think it was $30 so each family paid $15 to get there.

When we were ready to leave SW at 9pm that night we went out to the parking lot and followed the sign that said Taxis and did the same thing. There was a van readily available and we paid the same thing.

Simple as that, I was ticked that I stressed out about it for so long and it turned out to be so easy and stress free LOL!
