For our upcoming July trip, we were thinking of taking the kids to SeaWorld since they have been to Disney several times. My plan is to arrive at SeaWorld between 9am and 10am. Spend pretty much the day there or until the kids get tired and are ready to go see Mickey. We have a PS at Chef Mickey's for 6:10pm so we have to leave in time to get to WL and check in, freshen up and then head over to CR. I know we won't see everything at SW but I think the kids will enjoy it, we always have. My question is this, if we arrive at 10am and leave around 3pm, will that be enough time at SeWorld or will it be a waste of time? It has been awhile since I have been.

In January 04 and February 03, we were there from 9am to about 5 pm. The hardest thing both times was that the shows we wanted to see were to close together, so you go from show to show. My biggest suggestion would be to arrive as early as possible and work your way around the park always going to the left. We did this both times and it seemed to work out great. Also, if you want to do the two "rides", do those first. The lines grow thoughout the day, from what I hear.

MORE DETAILS . . .

In Feb 03, we got there at 8:15am and were the 4 car in line to enter the parking lot. (Jan 04 we used a town car service).

In Feb, this is what we saw before 12Noon.
Tropical Reef
Turtle Point
Stingray Lagoon
Dolphin Cove (spent time feeding them, too)
Manatees The Last Generations
Penguin Encounter
Pacific Point Preserve (spent time feeding the Sea Lions, too)
Clyde & Seamore Show

After lunch, we did
Shark encounter
Saw the horses
Let the kids play in shamu's happy harbor
Wild Arctic
And caught the 3pmish Shamu Show
Did some shopping and left around 4-5pm.

We felt we did enough for a day, but we still wished we had longer.

HTH,

Thanks Jen,
I know we won't see everything but we just want to give the kids the experience. Mostly we would like to see the Shamu show, Clyde and Seamore and the Dolphin show. Then we can just browse some of the self guided things.

U should be fine for what u want to do u will se a few shows plus have time for the k,ids to play in happy harbour:jester:

If you can move your start up 1 hour, things will be much better. SWF lets people into the first part of the park at about 08:45am. At 9am the park opens. You can head left to the stingray tank in the Key West area, see the turtles nearby, then to the first Dolphin show that usually starts at 10am. You need to arrive to each show about 20 minutes early.

If your kids are tall enough, you would do the two rides (Kraken, JTA) first. They are located near the Dolphin show in the back of the park.

Clyde and Seamore show would be next, then eat lunch early at 11am because the lines are long if you wait until noon.
