hello, we will be visiting in Aug for just one day. My now 3(will be 4 by Aug) is GA-GA over dolphins and whales I dont know much at all about seaworld and would like any and all sugg. whats a must see, what are some things we shouldnt miss parades, exhibits etc also where is a great place to eat? please share! Thanks Ana

Our three girls have loved Sea World at all ages. You will get a schedule when you arrive, go through it and pick what you want so you don't miss them. Then plan around that. There is a Dolphin Show and The Sea Lion & Otter Show that are not to be missed. Of course the Shamu show (day or evening one) which is also a must.

So many great shows and the scenery is just beautiful! Walk through exhibits are very nice.

Our favorite restaurant has always been in the Brewery area (where you can go on free beer brewery tours). Fresh food and desserts, nice outdoor/indoor seating. It's been a while since we've been to Sea World, but I doubt it's changed much. We cant wait to see in May. Have fun!!!

There's a playground w/ splash area near Shamu stadium that your 4 y.o. will like but i'm not sure about your 1 y.o. Last May, my 10 mo. old was sleeping in the stroller while the 3 y.o. old played there w/ DH.

Both of my kids enjoyed the Pets Ahoy animal show....it's great to see the show indoors w/ a/c on a hot day. It's very comical.

They also may enjoy eating lunch while watching the sharks in the tank. The restaurant @ the shark exhibit takes reservations that day at their podium starting at 10 a.m. Lunch starts at 11 (at least this is the way it was for us).

Our 3 y.o. best enjoyed the Sea Lion & Otter show. The dolphin show wasn't open then & she was most bored w/ the whale show. I think the new & improved show includes more music which may capture her interest so we'll give it another try.

We all enjoyed the penguin exhibit & feeding the dolphins.

RE: the indoor exhibits, the 10 mo. old missed quite a few of these either due to naps or the fact that she was more content in her stroller. It got to be a bit of a pain to take her in & out of her stroller (she's heavy, too) since you can't bring strollers into the exhibits.

I have also read that there will may some new kiddie rides....have fun!
