I realize Sea World is all about the animals and all, but would a few flat rides really hurt? I think it would be great if they got like a Top Spin or something of that nature. Why don't they get flat rides?

I don't think this would be good. It sounds like adding more rides will turn Sea World into another BGT.

The whole ride thing with SW is a tough decision for them. They know they cannot "out-Disney" WDW and Universal. The ultimate attraction for a park like Sea World has to be the marine life and the shows.

They have added a couple of thrill rides, but I don't think they would want to start adding too many small "flat" rides and start looking like a local carnival. :)

What SW chose to do instead is put in large splash play areas for the kids. For me, this works out great.
