Sea World Dolphin Encounter

I was just looking on the website and saw this - something I think my 9yo would love to do.
for $45 pp has anyone done this and what did you think?
My guys aren't brave enough to get in the water with the dolphins but would do this for sure!
Also how far out can you book this? We aren't going unitl August.

Good Morning,

We just got back from Disneyland etc. a couple weeks ago and my daughter and I did the interaction with the dolphins ($170.00/person) and found it quite disappointing as you really didn't get to interact with the dolphin that much. My daughter thaught it was ok but for the price I thought it was pretty expensive for what you get. $45.00/person might be ok but if it is like the interaction I wouldn't bother. I know that during the day you can feed the dolphins and get pretty close to them.

Thanks - I guess we'll just stick to feeding time then and spend our money on something else!!
