Can I bring snacks and water into either places?

Also, is the zoo a PITA with a stroller? We'd like to bring one for our DD but I am seeing this be difficult as we get on and off the bus. Maybe we should leave the stroller in the car?

I have always brought snacks and sippy cups in, no problem. Sea World does search bags but not exactly sure what they are searching for...

I think the zoo would be more of a PITA without a stroller for a 2 year old...it is a TON of walking(even if you do use the buses) and a lot of it up and down fairly big hills. If you are spending any amount of time there a stroller would be a must. An easy-fold umbrella type would be easy enough to get on and off the busses too.

It's SO hilly. Definitely get the bus ride - you can hop on and off with the stroller at 5 handy spots.

There are some restrictions on bringing food in because of the animals - no straws for 1! I'm not sure of the others - probably no glass. I'm sure their website has some info.

A stroller at the Zoo is a must for us... about the snacks we bring them into both parks and haven't had any problems

when i called the san diego zoo they said taht they have single and double strollers to rent. Also lego land does to i am not sure what sea world has for retnal strollers.

The Zoo just recently put a policy into place where they no longer allow visitors to bring food and beverages into the Zoo. Water bottles are ok, as is baby food/infant formula, and food for those with dietary needs. I haven't been there since they did it, but it sounds like they aren't actively enforcing it by searching bags at the entrance - all they have done is put up a sign.

Here's a link to the article about it:

verrrrrrrrrrry interessssssssting ...

Knott's Berry Farm: Allows homemade food and drinks as well as baby formula.

Really? Maybe someone forgot to tell KBF managment.
For years, the "map and fun guide" has stated something like this:
'... we do not allow coolers, outside food or beverages into the Theme Park. The exception is limited to "baby" foods.'

Just back from the SD Zoo over Easter Break.. They did not search our bags and we had enough food for a family of 10! So I brought the juice and water and lunchables for everyone not a problem!
