?Sea World 2nd visit free-how does it work?

I was told that when you go to Sea world the one admission fee entitles you to come back for a 2nd day at no cost. How does this work? Do you show ID?Do you need to use them within a certain #of days?
I would think they have to do something so that someone doesn't give another family their used tickets to get a free admission on another day??

My parents used this last year when we went to Seaworld. There is a booth before exiting the park to get set up for 2nd day admission. They take your picture so that it's only you that comes back. I'm not sure but I think you have to use it the next day.

there is a little window that you go to and they take your picture and give you a ticket with your picture on it. We used it in June and I think you have 7 days to use the 2nd day. We went on Tuesday and Friday.
