Sea Turtle Inn - Jacksonville Beach?

Anyone stayed here? Is it nice? How about the beach? Nice or yucky??? We may be staying here one night on our way out of Florida. Hoping someone on here can give an opinion. Thanks!

That's not too far from me. The Sea Turtle in is one of the best hotels at the beach here and from what I've heard have a wonderful seafood buffet on the weekends. The beach is nice in that area but, it's not like your west coast white sandy beaches w/clear blue water.

Sounds good - we mainly just want to stay on the coast for one night on the way home.

My college roommate got married there last November and we stayed for the weekend. It is nice enough. I certainly wouldn't pay rack rate though. Our room was a little musty and cold, but I am sure that is because it is directly on the water.

The whole area is really nice, lots of restaurants within walking distance.
