Been reading DebWills reports and she mentions putting the clock forward one hour while on the Magic. Anyone know why? Is this the standard? Or just a way to get passengers up and going earlier? I've heard of PST EST CST and I know Hawaii is different. But "seatime" never heard of it.

They are putting the Magic on Central Standard Time which is the time zone that Puerto Vallarta is in. On Tuesday night they'll probably have people set their clocks one hour back to put them on Mountain Standard Time, the time zone that Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas are in.

Clarifying a few things because my post may be confusing to some....

Deb posts that they set their clocks 1 hour ahead on both Saturday night and Sunday night. Los Angeles is on PST, Puerto Vallarta is 2 hours ahead of Los Angeles time (CST), Mazatlan & Cabo are 1 hour ahead of Los Angeles time (MST).

It is good that they are telling you to change your clocks on one of our cruises we were not told and showed up earily for dh swim with the dolphins we could have been out doing something else during the hour we lost by coming earily
